Entitlements Enhancements

Venues will now be able to take advantage of the following enhancements to our Entitlements product, which include:

  1. Venues will have the ability to limit the number of tickets members can buy, for a discounted ticket type.  For example - Gold members can buy 3 Adult tickets at 50% off.  The rest of the tickets will need to be purchased at full price.  This will allow a venue to utilize one event template for events with membership entitlements, if desired.
  2. Venues will have the ability to limit the number of tickets members can buy, across ticket types.  For example - Gold members can buy 3 Adult, Senior or Student tickets at 50% off.  It doesn't matter which ticket types the member chooses but they cannot surpass 3 of Adult, Senior, Student, in total.
  3. Venues will have the ability to limit the number of tickets members can buy per day AND per event.  For example - Gold members can buy 3 Adult, Senior or Student tickets at 50% off per day, but cannot exceed 10 tickets for the entire event.
  4. Venues will have the ability to configure the entitlement rules they want in place per template, by navigating to the Pricing → Member Rules tab within the event template.  Here the venues can now configure the rules that Acme supports on their own, and the rules will take effect upon publish.
  5. Online (B2C) and POS have been updated to handle the new entitlements rules above.  Online and POS now support the ability to purchase member discounted and retail price tickets in the same cart.  Also, the error messages have been updated to reflect the details of the limits.  New white label variables have been added, please work with your Client Services representative to learn more.

Enhancement Note:  Clients who are not using entitlements will also be able to take advantage of the new multi-select control within the Member rules tab when programming access to member only events and/or applying member discounts without limits.

Group Sales Enhancements & Functionality (B2B)

  • Ability to edit an Order Contact in B2B for Organization orders - You can now edit Order Contacts for Organization orders. This can be useful when someone from an organization calls and tells you that another person should now be the contact for an order. To make this change, go into “Orders” in the Back Office. Locate the relevant order and click “View” › “Edit Order”. In the contact field, use the drop-down menu to select your new contact.
  • Ability to assign an Organization while editing an Order in B2B - Now, you can add an Organization to a pre-existing order. This can be useful for online orders that you want to associate to a particular Organization. To make this change, go into “Orders” in the Back Office, then click “View” › “Edit Order” on the relevant order. In the Organization area, click “Add Organization”. Once added, the Billing Contact will remain the same and the Order Contact will be updated to a contact at the Organization. If that person is not yet a contact with the Organization, you can add them in one simple step.

Bug Fixes

The following bugs are fixed in release 5.0:

  • Online (B2C): Ensure primary and secondary cardholders remain the same during membership renewals
  • POS: Ensure extra space is not added between first and last in "name on card" field when editing cardholder names (resolves member search issue at POS)
  • Back office: Fixed issue where it was not possible to edit an event instance start time
